Weekly Blog August 21-25, 2017

Weekly Blog
Summary:
This week was pretty mundane. On Monday, all I can remember doing is learning about the french horn and trombone in band. On Tuesday, I was sick, so I wasn't at school, On Wednesday, I had to miss band to help with picture taking. In social studies, we took our pictures. On Thursday, we corrected our first science notes. I also helped with picture taking again. In english, I did a simple review and introduction to Springboards. At the open house, we just waited around for about an hour doing nothing. On Friday, I learned that my reading level is 12.9+, which I didn't expect. I got all of the band work I missed done, and we learned about more instruments. I want to play the french horn or trombone.
Highlight/Lowlight:
The highlight of the week for me was learning about more instruments in band because it's really fun and there's no stress when we do it. Another highlight is when I learned of my reading score. I expected to get a 9 or 10th grade level, but it was 12.9+! A lowlight of the week was how boring math is. There's just not a lot we did, and I had three days with math. Another lowlight is how we waited the entire open house presentation.
Lessons Learned:
I learned that we're going to be missing a lot of classes throughout the year. Hopefully I can keep my grades up!
