My Experiences of Summer Activities

Summary

Workdays:
I came in two weeks late because I was at scout camp. I came in at the end of the bulletin boards being put up. Then we rearranged the tables for schedule pick-up. After schedule Pickup, we mostly just did ids. I liked this because I got to know some of the other kids in period three in between the customers.
Meet & Greet:
I met Laila and Lori when we were separated into groups. I really like how the Pancit flag turned out and how it represented our personalities. Then, April came while the other groups were presenting their flags and how well they knew each other. Thankfully, we knew enough about each other to answer every question. In dodge ball, I lost every game, but it was still fun. Next, we had lunch. The food was good, but I'm not the biggest fan of hot dogs. The water balloon fight was really fun! I got soaked!
Schedule Pick-Up:
Laila was working the register both days so we were split up between the other groups. I started with helping people fill out the forms on Thursday. I enjoyed how there was always a customer to serve. We then went to customer relations. That was boring and I wanted it to end. After, I went to ids and gave people planners. I loved lunch! On Friday, I started with customer relations. It was pretty much the same as Thursday. Next, I did ids and I punched holes. It was hard. I helped people fill out forms for 45 minutes, and then I helped make lunch. I had to go before lunch, though.
Beach Field Trip:
I think setting up took a bit long, but the water was worth it. I think our team cheer was nice, and I hope we remember it! I was in the water all day swimming around and went pretty deep. Unfortunately, I got horribly sunburned. Sierra advised me to elaborate on my bio cube and to speak up.

Expectations vs Reality

Workdays:
I expected the workdays to be different and have more variety. What actually happened is we mostly just hung out with each other and occasionally made some one's IDs.
Meet & Greet:
I just expected to do some fun group activities. I didn't even know about the Alumni before it. I didn't know we would have our own groups.
Schedule Pick-Up:
I expected it to be really hectic there but it was pretty calm, except for when it was crowded. I expected it to be crowded all the time, but it was really just the morning.
Beach Field Trip:
I expected us to do more activities. I'm glad that I got to swim most of the time.
