Bio Cube Assignment Blog

My Bio Cube
Summary:
The Bio Cube assignment was meant to help us explain about us. It was also supposed to help us with speaking to an audience. For the assignment, we had to fill out the cube's six sides: Name/Picture, Obstacle, Personality, Significance, Background, and Quote. After they were done, we presented our bio cube in different venues such as a classroom and a cafeteria.
Highlight/Lowlight:
The highlight of the Bio Cube project for me was how simple it was. I finished it in a few hours. The lowlight of my Bio Cube was sharing it. I was worried I might disturb some of the other classes, so I didn't really project my voice well. I also procrastinated and finished my Bio Cube at the last minute. That is why my highlight is my highlight

Lessons Learned:
I learned not to procrastinate. I also learned to project my voice when I'm told to. I also learned how to project my voice so people can hear it better.
Reflection:
Overall, I think my bio Cube could be a lot better. I didn't think we needed to wrap it in wrapping paper, so I wrapped it in normal paper. I also never knew we needed a name and picture for one side of our bio cube. I'll put more thought into it next year.

GLOs:

  1.  Self Directed Learner: I was a self-directed learner by finishing the bio cube in a course of three days.
  2. Community contributor: I was a community contributor by participating in the public speaking part.
  3. Complex Thinker: I thought of different ways I could make myself heard during when we were presenting the Bio Cubes
  4. Quality Producer: I used nice handwriting on my Bio Cube.
  5. Effective Communicator: I tried my hardest to let people be able to hear my presentation.
  6. Effective and Ethical User of Technology: I used technology to help plan my Bio Cube.
