Weekly Blog
Summary of Week:
This week was certainly eventful. On Monday, I decided not to run for 7th grade office because I had family here over the weekend and prioritized being with them over making posters and flyers. I helped Lucy hand out flyers with lollipops, which was a total disaster. For some reason, she was mad at me for handing them out while she was eating lunch. That was a waste of a lunch. Even worse, I was eating lunch until after the voting closed, so I never voted! That is just disappointing. In science, We finished setting up (finally) and started to learn about actual science. It wasn't much, though. In math, we took our star math tests, and we'll be starting actual math on Monday. In leadership, we shared our bio cubes and made our second bio cubes. In band, we "learned" about music theory. I started playing the piano in kindergarten. I'll probably not learn anything until we get our instruments. In english, we took our star reading tests. I think I got a really high score on both star tests, because I never learned how to solve the questions in class.. I hope I don't get put in victory math! That's about it. In social studies, we learned about the history of Ewa and geography of Hawaii and Oahu. I need to shorten this. School will probably get monotonous and I'll have less to say.
 Highlight/Lowlight:
Highlight/Lowlight:The highlight of the week was when Lucy found a package that had a twist tie in it that was labeled "Deluxe Computer Cable." It even looked like the package was unopened! The lowlight was when I was helping Lucy hand out flyers. It was chaotic, and Ahled still won. I didn't even vote! That made no difference whatsoever.Lessons Learned:
I learned that bribing people to vote for them doesn't work. I also learned that setting up class takes an incredibly long time.<--The "Deluxe Computer Cable"
