This week I was really busy. I couldn't go to any of the orientation practices. One day I had band, the next I had a dentist appointment, and on Friday I took my French Horn home and had to take the bus. I really don't see this week being very exciting or anything. It's just been...average. That's this week. Average.

A highlight of the week would be going home on Friday because school was over for the week. I was really excited. Another highlight of the week was on Wednesday when Lucy just randomly burst into the room full of enthusiasm right after Mr. Ing said that the girls wouldn't participate in anything this quarter. That really made my day. The Lucy comedically coming in part. Not the other part. A lowlight of the week was not being able to come to Orientation practice. I really wish I could go more often. That makes me sad.
I learned that sometimes you have a busy schedule, such as consecutive doctor's appointments which make me miss band and orientation practice. This is also why I missed orientation practice on Tuesday so I could go to band at least once this week. Why must you put me through this mom. Another thing I learned would be that you should always listen to someone the first time. I learned this from how the girls only got in trouble because they, as a group of mostly like-minded individuals, didn't listen to the choreographers or Mr. Ing regarding after-school practice. They do say, "Any smart person learns from their own mistakes, but the really clever ones learn from the faults of others."
